The compressed initrd (root.gz) is about 48 megs which was the same size
more or less as the singularity file loaded by cloop.

It uses 192 megs of ram because that's how big the 'loop' fs image is/was.

Removing all of the excessive free space from the lnx-bbc-net image is
doable. (about 60 megs) bringing it around 130 uncompressed.

But compressed it's really no different then it was before.

It takes a good number of seconds to boot this way over the network,

And it *is* at 50 megs. It is. :) Trust me. :)
