Powers that be? If you read lnx-bbc-devel, you'd see that Seth David Schoen has written a remote-downloading man page viewer that will soon grab cat pages from the Web. We genuinely do lack space on the LNX-BBC for man pages, and most man pages can be found by googling for "ifconfig SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION". At any rate, once you're up on the net, you'll soon be able to read man pages. I don't think anyone here (except for maybe Niall) believed that everyone should just memorize command-line switches or anything. Anyway, we've been putting out some build fires in CVS lately, and working on making compiles work for everyone. We'll probably put the man page viewer up as a downloadable package for 2.1, but we're still over our size limits for current CVS STABLE to make a release yet. -- Support your droogs! end
