Okay, I'll take a shot, but listening to me might destroy your
disk :)
After booting lnx-bbc
Make sure lnx-bbc didn't automount some partition that you
don't want mounted. Do a df and umount anything that looks like
it might be part of the raid array.
make sure any drivers needed for the disk controller are loaded
and the disk device appears, maybe do an fdisk to see that raid
partitions exist on the right disks.
install the raid kernel module for the level you are using, something
like:
# modprobe raid0
Make an /etc/raidtab file that is correct for your system. For me
it's something like:
raiddev /dev/md0
raid-level 0
nr-raid-disks 2
chunk-size 64k
persistent-superblock 1
nr-spare-disks 0
device /dev/hda3
raid-disk 0
device /dev/hdc3
raid-disk 1
Start the raid device
# raidstart /dev/md0
(bunch of encouraging messages)
Mount the raid device
# mkdir /tmp/m
# mount /dev/m /tmp/m
If all goes well you'll have a mounted raid device...
