Trouble Loading Linux.

Hi Everyone: I am a new member. I downloaded the latest Vs. 2.1, burned it and then booted from my CD. The boot was successful, I see the various options to choose etc., Later once I choose the default resolution and it starts loading, after a while it stops and just stays at a cursor. There is no command prompt nothing. I am unable to type anything once it stops. It says on one line, trying to get IRQ5 got IRQ15. The lsat two lines before it stops end with IRQ 14 and IRQ15.
