I have already described my experience using that option to boot. It didn't change anything. Still the Boot Process progresses on its own until it stops at that very same point. Does me not able to control the Boot using the 1 prompt command indicate another problem ? Thanks. Vijay Jeff Mock <[email protected]> wrote: Did you try starting lnx-bbx with the "prompt" option. From the boot line type something like "1 prompt". At that point you get to control the boot process at a reasonably fine level. I suggest saying no to starting "discover". My guess is that auto-probing is tweaking something in your machine causing the boot to fail. jeff On Sat, 2003-08-30 at 10:03, Rajagopal Vijayabhaskar wrote: > I also downloaded the Damn Small Linux from: > http://www.damnsmalllinux.com and tried to run from live CD.
