MD5 is a cryptographic hash function that has a very low probability of generating the same number for two different inputs. It is often used for data integrity checking. The md5sums for each of the released ISOs are listed here: http://www.lnx-bbc.org/download.html Use the md5sum utility to calculate the md5sum of the ISO file that you burned to CD. It should be identical to the one listed on the Web page. If it is not, then your download got corrupted. -- Ah bay tsay day vitamin.
