This should probably be on lnx-bbc-devel instead of lnx-bbc.

You can decompress the singularity image with extract_compressed_fs,
which is included in the cloop upstream sources from Klaus Knopper
(which we also distribute).  To modify the LNX-BBC, it's better to
build it from sources; you can get the sources out of our anonymous
CVS (but build STABLE, not HEAD, because HEAD is broken).
