You don't need the cloop driver, it's just a C program that will decompress the singularity file. The decompressed file is a romfs filesystem, so your OS needs loop and romfs to mount the decompressed file. At the risk of self promotion twice in one day, I wrote some scripts to take apart an lnxbbc image and then compress it back together to make it easy to modify the disc.
