Can you say what application you are using and what specific DNS error
you get?  What do you have in /etc/resolv.conf?  (I assume you're
using DHCP from the WAP at the other end.)

It's possible that some other device is eth0 and that your wireless
card therefore got another name.  Can you run ifconfig -a and see what
the name of the wireless interface is?

Try "cardctl eject".  On some distributions (I don't remember whether
this is true of LNX-BBC) you might have to take the interface down
first with "ifconfig eth0 down" or similar.
