To all:  I used "Section A: Enabling the WPC11 Without wlan-ng"

Note that Step 3 (Restart pcmcia services:) has a different path, it 
says:

      $ /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart

but for lnx-bbc do

      $ /etc/init.d/pcmcia restart

I saved hermes.conf on the Win98 D: drive, so I can copy it to  
/etc/pcmcia/hermes.conf (where it must be found).  Can I just make a 
softlink in /etc/pcmcia/ to hermes.conf on D: 
(/mnt/discs/disc0/part5/lnx-bbc/hermes.conf)?

I will be booting lnx-bbc many times on my laptop (to learn how to use its 
many features).  What procedure would use the least number of keystrokes 
to get the WiFi running?  Can I invoke a shell script on the Win98 D: 
drive to do all this, time after time?

What is the best strategy for using lnx-bbc repeatedly on one system?
