Find somewhere else to carry the disk.

I found out the interesting way that cracked disks in 48x drives lose
structural integrity in about 0.250 seconds.  With a rather impressive
sonic report.  Anyone at eye level with the drive tray risks severe and
permanent injury.

Get a case for your disks.  I find a PDA case is a decent carrier
(seeing as I've got it on me anyhow).
