knoppix and swap

   Just a quick note: the later Knoppixes have a boot parameter ("cheat 
code")
that starts it without activating swap: ("noswap"). Found out the hard 
way
trying to boot a system with a physically failed hard drive, and trying 
to prevent
any access to drive.
