I downloaded the bbc-2.1-with-sources.tar.gz file set up a chroot and built it just fine. I then tried to change the kernel to a 2.4.20 version that I have patched for my environment. I put the kernel tar in kernel/linux/download and in the gararchive and changed the package-api.mk file to the .20 version and then made minor mods to the kernel/linux/makefile to not include the .xfs and jfs patches. When I try to build, the build gets to the linux-headers directory but the kernel source is not expanded out into the work/i386/linux-2.4.20 directory and the build stops saying that the Makefile is missing. I'm obviously missing something necessary to change to the .20 kernel but I haven't been able to figure it out. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
