I'm just starting out with the BBC/gar system so please forgive my 
ignorance, but how do I specify that I want to use the tg3 driver?

There are tg3.h and tg3.c in the kernel subtree so hopefully they'll be 
there.   If not I suppose I'll have to do a complete system build?
