cvs login problem

Hi

I am trying to perform a cvs update of my gar distribution, but I'm 
having problems loging in -

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/usr/local/var/cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401/usr/local/var/cvs
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.lnx-bbc.org(66.93.140.154):2401 
failed: Connection refused

I am just hitting return when asked for the password as suggested in 
another post on this NG - is this correct?

I managed to do this successfully last Friday (21/5/04) but I had to 
rearrange my disk space and lost my updated gar tree, but I'd hoped I 
would be able to do update again.  Am I only allowed 1 update?
