Hi Folks, this is an update release of the new stable versions of the Bluetooth library and the utilities. It includes fixes for the SDP server to prevent a busy loop found during robustness testing. The BlueZ D-Bus handling has also been improved to fully ignore raw devices. The configuration options for security mode 3 are now removed. This was already planned and announced for the previous release, but somehow the patch never made it into the final release. Additionally the inquiry mode option has been removed. The appropriate inquiry mode will be automatically determined through the feature bits and in case of Lisbon hardware it will be extended inquiry by default. Since the previous release was made on my flight to Bangkok, I scheduled this one for the Lufthansa flight LH 783 back home.
