He refers to "oM 2.6 doesn't have all the useful functionality it should have for mainstream use", but, as you're a developer, you might give it a try nonetheless. Back in march I did some benchmarks using more than 25 cluster machines migrating more than 1500 jobs -- none of them crashed. You just have to take care not running "bad" jobs, where "bad" is defined as "using shared mem", "using threads" etc. (these requirement were already often posted on this list).
