Hi,
I have installed openMosix 2.4.26 and userland tools on Redhat 9.
I am able to run shell programs and they automatically migrate to other nodes. I am able to see that using openmosixview.Things are fine till here.

1)I wrote a C program and created a executable for that.(for eg: cc mympi.c -o mympi.o). When i run multiple instances of it(using a shell wrapper to fork multiple mympi.o processes) this in a shell , processes migrate . But when i try to do this using openmosixview , it says execution failed. I show the file and say run on, using openmoisxview.

Can anyone say whats going wrong?

  2) Does openMosix comes with LAM-MPI? Or do i need to install one?

  3) Can MPICH and LAM-MPI work together?

4)Is mpirun capable of moving programs to other hosts and execute? Or does it need openMosix for that?

5)Do i need to set up a network file system or oMFS to run MPI programs? Can anyone suggest how to setup oMFS?

  Awaiting for reply,

  Thanks in advance.

PS:Sorry for flooding with too many questions at a time.

  Regards,
  Imran
