Tat- Your are wanting to do channel bonding and that will make the network interconnect much faster. You will need a switch for each channel of the bonded network. Simply bridging the nodes together will not have the desired effect and also be very messy. The configuration you have sketched out would in fact most likely be slower that just using one nic per node and a switch as there will not be a direct route to none adjacent nodes.
