Openmosix 2.6 Testing HOWTO?

Hi,

I am trying to test the 2.6 Version of openmosix, but it is hard to find all
necessary information. Is there a HOWTO?

What I have done up to now:

- I found the git repository and managed to download, unsparse, compile and
install the 2.6.16-om kernel on tow machines.

- I downloaded and compiled OpenMosixUserland-0.5.1

- I tried to manually migrate a process from one machine to the other with

 echo $othermachineip > /proc/11650/om/where

But nothing happens. cat /proc/11650/om/where still outputs
"home", there is no error message. I
checked /proc/11650/om/stay, on some processes it's empty, on
others there are reasons it can't migrate. It stays on home even if om/stay
is empty before and after the  'echo $othermachineip
> /proc/11650/om/where' command.


Did I miss something? My Questions:

- Do I need to edit a configuration file stating which machines belong to
the clusters?

- Do I need to start a daemon? If yes how is it called and where can I find
it?

- How can I tell if the two nodes see eachother?  In 2.4 it was
in /proc/hpc, but not on my 2.6 Machine. /proc/hpc is there but only has
the following:

mosmon: This is NOT a OpenMosix system!

Why does it think it's not an OpenMosix system? Is mosmon only for the 2.4
kernels?
