Hi Felipe and Gianluca, I've a problem with NULL pointer addresses as well. However I think the problem is older than the recent attempts to port openmosix to 2.4.3x for SATA reasons. I also think there is an interaction between openmosix and more recent versions of GCC. Earlier versions of openMosix and GCC do not cause a problem for me. Please see the summary below. "Failure" mean I received a NULL pointer dereference: om patch gcc result 2.4.24-2 3.3.6 success 2.4.24-2 3.4.5 failure 2.4.26 3.3.6 failure after extended testing 2.4.26 3.4.5 failure So maybe try compiling the kernel with an older compiler? See this message in the mailing list archives for an (incomplete?) history of openmosix and the NULL pointer dereference http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=15732686. Good luck, C.
