Something I found out recently (that is also in the FAQ) is that
OpenMosix cannot distribute different threads to different machines. A
multi-process application can have each process sent to a different
machine under certain conditions. If you're using perl, grab
Parallel::ForkManager off CPAN - it makes creating this type of program
very easy. (Local file IO and print statements kill the portability
though.)

Hi, all:

I want to know what kind of job is "openmosix friendly"? I mean, How openmosix knows the job can be migrated? A multi-process or a multi-thread program?

I am trying openmosix now and I have lots of applications but, I don't know whether these applications can be used on openmosix. Thanks a lot.
