I've found that this problem only arises when I log into the graphical = environment (KDM) as a normal user and then do "su" to run openmosixview = as root (since in this way the file /root/.Xauthority is not set up). I = have no problem when I log into KDM as root (what does set up the = /root/.Xauthority file) or when I log into KDM as normal user, execute = "xhost +" (so getting access control disabled and allowing clients to = connect from any host), and then do "su" to run openmosixview as = superuser. (I can also copy the ~/.Xauthority file of the normal user to = /root/.Xauthority, but it doesn't seem very elegant to me) So my = intention is to execute "xhost +" from the ~/.bashrc of my normal user. = Can you see any problem (maybe of security) on it?
