hello all

i have a small cluster with about 96 core.
i have oracle grid engine on it and we analyze mri images by fsl and freesurfer softwares.
it is quit good but on some cases process are very huge and even worst case they are depend on other jobs results.
i want to is it possible to use ssi solution like openssi to solve our problems.

as i found on internet ssi solution simulate one big cpu for end user.
1- is it possible to run fsl or freesurfer in that computer?
2- is our analyzes run faster??

ps. this is my post/mail in this mailing this. i am very happy to be here.

best regards
nru
