MD5Sum mismatch problem

A corrupted openssl RPM got into our apt repository recently.  After 
finding this out, I replaced it with an uncorrupted RPM.  I then re-ran 
genbasedir on the directory.

On the clients, I ran 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get upgrade'.  The upgrade 
fails though:
Failed to fetch 
ftp://ftp.wss.yale.edu/pub/linux/suse/i386/9.1-Pro/RPMS.updates/openssl-0.9.7d-15.13.i586.rpm  
MD5Sum mismatch

The RPM is fine, I am sure of it.  Why am I getting this "MD5Sum mismatch" 
error even after re-running genbasedir on the server and after re-running 
apt-get update on the clients?
