Just uploaded a pre-version of next apt-rpm release: http://laiskiainen.org/apt/testing/apt-0.5.15lorg3-pre1.tar.bz2 The repomd branch has now been merged to trunk and the repomd support is feature complete to the extent I have in mind for the initial release [1]. All functionality is supposed to be back in place both with old apt repositories and repomd and any mix-and-match combination of them, anything else is a bug that should be reported. Oh and it now understands repomd source repositories as well [2]. I'm expecting to do one or two more pre-releases to tidy things up a bit and shake out any remaining bugs (surely there are some), so now is a good time to put it to some heavyweight testing :) [1] I'm not planning to add resolving file dependencies from filelists.xml to the initial repomd-support release. [2] Repositories such as Fedora Core 2-4 release trees containing both binary and source information might cause some weird behavior when used as repomd-src and are best avoided, I'll hope to fix that for the final version. - Panu -
