Would you mind attaching your implementation to a mail? For instance you may attach your new source package (possibly multiple times for different suites) as well as debdiffs for other related packages (if needed). I was assuming that asking for this was too much prior to making a decision, but as you say it is trivial, it is much easier to reason about that code than reason about what we have now. Helmut
