Dear committee members,

I hereby resign as Chair, effective one week from now, and call for
votes to elect the Chair of the Technical Committee.
Per the Debian Constitution, the vote runs until all members have voted,
or until my resignation takes effect.

I am resigning now so that there is a handover period for the new chair
during which I'll still be on the committee. Matthew Vernon
and Timo Röhling have expressed willingness to be elected Chair.

It has been an honour.
