Source: pygame Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] pygame seems to have had governance issues that led to a fork (pygame-ce), and the original pygame doesn't seem to be keeping up well with behaviour changes to private implementation details of SDL2/sdl2-compat (for example the patch for #1123947 hasn't been applied upstream, and there's also #1135448). Perhaps Debian should migrate to pygame-ce as the upstream for our src:pygame package? (I am not a pygame user or developer, so this is not my decision to make, and if I do a team upload to adjust to SDL changes it'll be via minimal patches to keep it on life-support rather than by making a change this intrusive.) smcv
