Package: innoextract Version: 1.9-0.1+b1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] Hi, I'm interested in salvaging your package innoextract, in accordance with the Package Salvaging procedure outlined in the Developers Reference[1]. Your package meets the criteria for this process, and I would love to assist in preserving and maintaining it. As the Salvage process suggests, here is a list of the criteria that apply, in my opinion: - NMU - Bugs filed against the package do not have answers from the maintainer. - There are QA issues with the package. I believe your package would be a great addition to the Debian Games team (where you are welcome), and I would ask to move your Salsa repository there[2]. innoextract is an invaluable tool for many games and game-related utilities. I see little use of it outside unpacking ols games assets. The same reasoning is valid for old data extractors, like unshield, cabextract, ... Kind regards Alexandre.
