Request to move python-awkward under the umbrella of Debian Python Team

Hi Med Team,

I've recently packaged python-vector [1] which is currently in unstable 
but I noticed that it's not going to make it to testing due to 
python-awkward[2] not being updated for 1.5 years.

python-awkward and python-vector are a part of Sci-Kit HEP project which 
is a high energy physics community project. I also maintain some of the 
other Sci-Kit HEP projects with the Debian Python Team.

python-awkward is currently being maintained by the med team but the 
package looks abandoned. It's been in unstable for 438 days now.

Hence I'm writing to ask if its possible to move the maintenance of 
python-awkward  under the Debian Python Team to handle future 
maintenance of the package as I believe it's better suited there.
