I have sent a patch upstream to fix this: https://github.com/scikit-hep/awkward/pull/3629
It does seem to fix the test for me, atleast locally.

It makes sense to do this only if there's really someone in that team actually interested to take
up the maintenance, otherwise it is just unnecessary cosmetics.
