Hello, We need to do something about it. Listening more to what Dirk is saying comes to mind. This manual BioConductor package updating however is not something that I think anyone should be doing. It does not scale and is no fun. For the routine-update script I would like to see an addition that removes the build/ directories - do you agree? And I think we can prefill debian/upstream/metadata with registry entries in conda and bio.tools (for BioConductor). I would address both if this finds a consensus here. Best. Steffen
