For nm.debian.org, at 2026-07-21:

I reviewed the Thiago Pezzo <[email protected]>'s contributions and
exchanged several mails with Thiago to learn more about Thiago's previous
work. Thiago's Debian contributions have mainly focused on organising
events in Brasil, so Thiago applied for a Debian Developer, non-uploading,
with advocacy from several Brasilian DDs.

I also exchanged many mails with Thiago to discuss the philosophy and
procedures. Thiago has a good understanding of the Debian's procedures
and knows how to identify and cite the relevant Debian references. As
part of assessing Thiago's ability to apply the DFSG to licenses in
practice, Thiago clearly described why the shown licenses were non-free.
For some of them, Thiago applied the corner case tests successfully.

All of Thiago's mails were properly signed with Thiago's key, and our
interactions were very great.

Therefore, I agree with the advocates that Thiago Pezzo
<[email protected]> can and should indeed be a Debian Developer,
non-uploading right now.

Thiago's short biography:

I have been a frequent contributor to the Debian Project for several
years, mainly in the Brazilian Portuguese translation team. I also help
organize local events, especially the MiniDebConfs in Brazil. I am a
sociologist and work in the Brazilian federal public education system.
