someipy is a Python library implementing the automotive SOME/IP protocol,
including SOME/IP Service Discovery (SD). It is aimed at fast prototyping of
applications that provide (server) or consume (client) SOME/IP services from
other ECUs, in cases where a full AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive integration
would be excessive.

In addition to the wire protocol and service discovery, someipy supports
serialization and deserialization of SOME/IP payloads, allowing message and
parameter layouts to be defined directly in Python.

The implementation follows the AUTOSAR R22-11 SOME/IP and SOME/IP Service
Discovery protocol specifications.
