Violations of these requirements should be treated as violations of the relevant Code of Conduct and should result in swift and proportionate disciplinary action. I find very problematic the concept that individual developers or teams (and upstream projects, who aren't even members of Debian!) may add their own rules to the Code of Conduct and that people would be acted upon for not respecting those rules. I also consider unreasonable to impose on people the burden of researching whether each developer or team has set such rules. At the very least, if this option were to pass, all such rules must be listed in a centralized place where anyone can quickly check them. Gerardo
