I requested to extend the discussion period because I received multiple requests from people who could not participate in the discussions. For people who were active since the beginning, might not have much to contribute, but some people who missed the discussion period might have something important to add to.

I believe that the benefit of 1 more week of discussion outweigh the disadvantages.
