We use Debian to provide the virtual-machine platform at the core of our 
departmental IT infrastructure at one extreme and to run our Raspberry
Pis at the other. Our researchers and support staff expect reliable,
secure, resilient and efficient services: Debian provides the stable 
basis from which those services are delivered.
