Hello Lucien,
hello Jean-Pierre,
next weekend manpages-l10n/manpages-fr 4.30 is released. If you look
at e.g.
https://manpages-l10n-team.pages.debian.net/manpages-l10n/debian-unstable-fr.html
you can see, that quite a few pages just need a few additional
translated paragraphs, before they are included again.

Maybe you want to review some of them.

The main reason for this e-mail, however, is a recent coreutils
update. After this, many pages no longer build, but the fix is
trivial, just a bit of work.

If you look at e.g. man1/ls.1.po you see:

#. type: TP
#: archlinux debian-unstable fedora-rawhide opensuse-tumbleweed
#, no-wrap
msgid "\\X'tty: link https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/coreutils.html#ls-a'B<-a, --all>\\X'tty: link'"
msgstr ""

So you simply need to copy over the original string.

You can identify all pages in man1 by running

grep -l coreutils *.po > /tmp/cfiles

And then update them e.g. with
for i in $(cat /tmp/cfiles ); do ../update-po.sh man1/$i; $EDITOR man1/$i; ../use-for-compendium.sh man1/$i; done

After this, many pages will be built again and and shipped in the next
release.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Greetings

          Helge
