Forgot one thing: I had to blacklist the "radeon" module (with e.g. `modprobe.blacklist=radeon` in kernel command line) for all the above machines, otherwise the startup hangs after the "radeon" module was loaded. I assume this is the same issue as on the rp34x0 systems (nearly identical to rx2620 hardware-wise IIC) although the VGA and additional serial port connectors aren't blocked physically on the rx2620.
