Unfortunately the mips big endian buildds + porterbox (currently) don't have FPUs, so anything FPU intensive requires the kernel to emulate the FPU instructions and it's extremely slow. Assuming that it what's causing the timeouts, there's not a huge amount that can be done about it at the moment short of disabling the testsuite (which you probably don't want to do). I would advise you to just leave it until there are some better machines to build it on. Thanks, James
