Greetings, currently I'm playing with the idea to use apt and a local rep as a backend for automatic software installation - even for pure windows programs. Has debian/win that far? In fact, that means converting real installer based package into .deb files and also integrate Debian base utilities into Windows, its boot-sequence and so on. In this case the system and user registry must also be accesable via dpkg. Is there a workaound for that problem? Is chrooting windows hypothetical or a real chance? Keep smiling yanosz
