Saluton Dominiko,

Mi ne havas spertan avizon pri tio, sed legante vian demandon mi pensas al tri
eblajxoj:

- fakte, "Ubuntu" jam sxajnas kiel esperanta vorto kvankam ne ekzistas verbo
"ubunti" (cxu ne?). Do sxajnas al mi ke konservi "Ubuntu" tiel estas bona ideo.

- alia eblajxo estus "Ubuntu' " kiel "Ubuntuo" sen la "o". Sed mi ne sxatas
aldoni "'" al "Ubuntu".

- kaj 'simpla' eblajxo estus "Ubuntuo",

sed mi preferas simple "Ubuntu" !
...Kaj eble se "Ubuntu" havas pli kaj pli da sukceso, la verbo "Ubunti"
naskigxos?

Hi Dominique,

I'm not pretending to provide the opinion of an expert, but your question makes
me think of three possibilities:

- in fact, "Ubuntu" already sounds like an esperanto word, though there is no
such verb as "Ubunti" (isn't it?). So it seems to me that keeping "Ubuntu"
as-is is a good idea.

- another option is "Ubuntu' " like "Ubuntuo" without the "o". But I don't like
adding "'" to "Ubuntu" (when the word is alone, it is to say not within a
sentence).

- and a simple option would be "Ubuntuo"...

But I much prefer "Ubuntu" as-is!
...And maybe if Ubuntu has more and more success the verb "Ubunti" will be born?

Bonjour Dominique,

Je n'ai pas un avis d'expert sur la question, mais je pense à trois
possibilités:

- en fait, "Ubuntu" ressemble déjà tout à fait à un mot esperanto, quoiqu'il n'y
ait pas de verbe "Ubunti" (enfin je crois).

- une autre possibilité serait "Ubuntu'" avec une "'" à la place du "o". Mais
franchement je n'aime pas trop ajouter "'" à "Ubuntu" si ce n'est pas dans le
contexte d'une phrase et si on choisissait cette solution "Ubuntuo" abrégée...

- et la solution 'simple' serait "Ubuntuo",
mais vraiment je préfèrerait "Ubuntu" tel quel!

...Et si Ubuntu continue d'avoir de plus en plus de succès on inventera le verbe
"Ubunti"?
