kmag doesn't work on wayland?

Hi,

I was trying to use the KMagnifier glass the other day, and it didn't
work at all. Then I tried it some more, and it continues not to work on
this system, where I run plasma/wayland.

On another one, plasma/x11, it works as it always had.
