This looks like [1] even if the use case is slightly different=2E

The bug mentions a workaround that I'm copying here in case it can help :

This is in Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> View - Details - Open files an=
d folders: I have this set to "By clicking on icon or name" Make sure you h=
ave that option, it should allow the behavior you're expecting=2E
