Hello List. Hope this helps. It is not tidy but i got to hurry away so I got to leave it like this. For fixing mime check the end of this mail. Running Installer: Permission denied. #I later found out: It is not set as executable. chmod +x fixes the Problem :) Running "GobolinuxInstaller" from /P/Installer/C/bin does work. The installer formats the disc. [Typed of the screen, sorry for mistakes. Paths are shortend by me] => Generating GRUB "grub.cfg" file... Warning: Unable to open /S/K/D/sr0 read-write (R-o filesystem). /S/K/D/sr0 has been opened r-o. Error: Invalid partition table - recursive partition on /S/K/D/sr0. And now it hangs. Installing from installer. cd /P/Installer/C/bin chmod +x Installer Installer => Generating GRUB "grub.cfg" file... /usr/bin/dev2grub.sh: line 1: grub-mkdevicemap: command not found cat: /S/K/B/grub/device.map: No such file or directory /dev/sda1 does not have any corresponding BIOS Drive GoboLinux Installation failed. Check /tmp/GoboLinuxInstall.log Error: global name 'bootloaderTarget' is not defined mv: cannot stat '/dev/root.old': No such file or directory C grub fails: efiemu/main.c: in function 'grub_efiemu_prepare': efiemu/main.c 278:13: error: variable 'err' set but not used [-Werror=unused-but-set-variable] grub_err_t_err; [...] conf.i386-pc.mk: 1577: recipe for target 'efiemu_mod-efiemu_main.o' failed make [...] Error 1 Compile: Grub [·] Build Process failed IP grub does only have grub 0.97 (insted of 1.97). That does not fix the problem. BTW: "Installer" is way slower then "GobolinuxInstaller" - though I did not look into it as I don't really care :D Mime: Errors are still there. To Compile one still needs to edit /etc/passwd ; change gobo to root Compile shared-mime-info cd /usr/share update-mime-database mime Fixes the Problem. I did not have the time to check if it is enough to just execute update-mime-database mime Interesstingly enough: update-mime-database /usr/share/mime did not work for me :) _______________________________________________ gobolinux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-users
