Re: Announcing GoboLinux 016 alpha

Tested by USB flash drive, on 2 computers, a tiny Asus Eeepc, and a bigger
Toshiba.
Both run smoothly, fast, and the desktop has black/blue "Gobo" nice colors
:)
Wifi worked fine on both, great improvement over the non-working wifi on
Gobo015.

This alpha is still kind of very much stripped off, no LibreOffice, not
even a GUI file manager available yet?

It's got:
Gimp (Eeepc didn't work, maybe low on RAM memory)
Mosaic (wtf? A web browser from the 90's? )
Firefox (works)
Avahi VNC Server Browser
Avahi SSH Server Browser
Htop (works)
GParted (works)
Cups Printing Manager
Vim (works)
HP device manager
Compton

On the Asus Eeepc:
I had a sistem crash while browsing the net on Firefox, took a picture if
you need it.
Couldn't open the Awesome menu hotkeys, or the Manual (but they poped-up
and worked on the Toshiba).
No sound output.
