Agreed on the sane recipes.
Provides a cleaner and faster instalation, and afterwards each user
can install/compile whatever he/she wants, but at least the
LibreOffice suite would be nice to have.

"The ISO is already at 1.5GB". Right, I also noticed that.
What I'm failing to understand is how the ISO from Gobo014 was so
small with 700mb CD size, loaded with full KDE3 and lots of apps, and
now it got a whole lot chunkier to 1.5gb, but it only has a stripped
off Awesome and almost no apps?
I'm not a programmer, so it looks somewhat strange.

I have been using KDE for a long time now, so I got used to Konkeror
(or Dolphin), wich I assume are out of equation, but if a file manager
has a system tree view, and the option to have at least 2 panes or
tabs for file copying/moving, it's good for me.

Curiously a quick search showed some awesome answers:

https://www.linux.com/learn/4-excellent-alternative-graphical-linux-file-managers

I have no experience with any of these alternatives, and as always, it
greatly depends on user preferences. Cast your votes according to what
suits you best :) Recipes

Judging by the looks of it, I would probably try Xfe, or PCManFM (old
recipes on Gobolinux for both).
Clean looks, light, but effective, and the tabs are nice in a file manager.
I'm now installing PCManFM on my Toshiba laptop (Kubuntu) to see how
this one goes :)

Didn't get the picture with Mosaic, but it was funny anyway. Made me
search what was it.

Should I attach and send the pictures to the list, or your email?
