Hi Lucas,

I counted to ten before responding. About ten weeks, actually. And my
thoughts haven't changed in that time, so I'm responding now.

You're suggesting that *I* develop the grub kernel line to make Gobo
legible to the sub 20/20, when I've told you repeatedly it takes me 30
minutes, each reboot of your live CD, to get it legible enough to
figure out how to grub it. And by the way, I'm no more of a grub expert
than you are.

I'm not going to take hours or days to do something that somebody with
better vision could do in minutes.

Your response to me contains nothing about my suggestion of at least
making the color schemes with reasonable contrast, even though this is
low hanging fruit probably doable in an hour by someone familiar with
the project and able to read the source code without 1/2 hour fooling
around with the fonts.

And now the discussion has turned to KDE/plasma. That pretty much tells
me all I need to know about the project's priorities and its vision of
its community members.

I'll be glad to help the project, as soon as I can boot the CD and
easily see the error messages, the virtual consoles TT1-TT6, Vim, the
terminals etc, without having to adjust stuff I can't even see. Till
then, I'm not going to try to fit in where I'm obviously not wanted.

Hey, maybe I'm the only one, in which case I'm just a prima-donna and
it's no big deal. But if you ever wonder whether you've blown off a
significant chunk of your potential user community by making it
unreadable to the sub 20/20, you might want to bring your fonts in line
with those of most distros, for those who can't correct to 20/20.
