Installing Gnome in /usr

Hi,

I tried to install gnome2 packages in the /usr hierarchy. Some links to pixmaps seem to not really work when installed in /opt.

The result is a mess with config files :
- a lot of files gets installed in /usr/etc
- the gconf cron file looks for files in /etc/usr

For the files that land in /usr/etc, I think it is just a --sysconfdir
parameter to correct if the prefix is different from /opt.
For the gconf cron file, my m4 skills are inexistant and I don't really
see how to correct it.

Any hint on that problem ?

PS: I currently work on a project in Germany during the week, with a
very limited access to the net. And during the weekend, I tend to not
have a lot of time to dedicate to ROCK. This situation will last for some
months so in the meantime, don't hesitate to update my packages if
some urgent security update was necessary.
